Community collaboration and teamwork is a must to achieve that goal. With that in mind, some 125 representatives from 70 nonprofit organizations that collaborate with the Banco Popular Foundation gathered at the Fourth Fostering Alliance Non-Profit Organizations Meeting, held at the Banco Popular Development Center in Santurce.
The organizations were grouped into six Alliances that collaborate and share ideas, resources and objectives to offer services to the community in the areas of special education, economic development, extended school hours, mentoring, alternative education and arts education. Each of the six Alliances presented its achievements to date, its objectives and the work plans to achieve them.
